This image, that first appeared (in a different form) as a front cover to the journal BioEssays, shows a stylized version of the enzyme DNA gyrase acting on DNA. Scientists from the Norwich Research Park are studying DNA gyrase enzymes from bacteria, that carry out DNA supercoiling and are the target for clinically-important antibiotics.
